The commercialization of the green energy movement is a juggernaut which will continue to grow and expand. There is vast interest and urgency among consumers, legislators, and the business community alike to: save money as energy costs continually rise, improve quality of life, reduce strain on the environment, and to act, and act quickly.

The profit motive, the lubricant of all things in a free market economy, is also strong, especially in light of the financial meltdown that continues to worsen in existing, traditional market segments.

The newly enacted economic stimulus plan is heavily targeted at creating and sustaining new, green-based jobs in clean industries—and provides tens of billions of dollars in funding to achieve that aim. In effect, this sweeping new legislation has effectively signaled the dawn of a new, de facto economy—the Green Economy in which we will all play a part.
